EMDD'08 + sch

| 0 notesThis wk was mostly EMDD stuff.. hahas.. i even find myself thinkin abt EMDD stuff durin lessons.. well.. its over i guess... but we had fun.. it was tiring i admit.. but its the journey tat matters... the choir did quite well.. i guess.. in my opinion.. hahas... and i'm glad for there.. now i can finally concentrate on my studies.. gosh.. i still got tons of hw waiting for me to complete..
ok.. this yr emdd was held the arts house.. the old parliament.. the choir performed at the chamber.. its lik the place where the ministers sit.. and they debate on issues.. so coool... haha.. we reached sch at lik 9.30+... practiced.. then went to gym to assemble.. then we went back to the music rm.. put on some make-up.. then practice even more.. its lik we sounded quite gd.. when the whole choir held on to one of the note... its lik super cool.. :)... lunch... then board the bus.. off to the arts house.. technical rehearsal... then.. its the matinee show.. its quite ok.. most of our audience r lik sec 2.. becos its their arts excursion.. then dinner.. elaine, jaja and i were lik goin high.. lols... then jaja was lik trying to be lik elaine takin 2 steps at a time.. then she fell.. so lol.. then one part of her heels came off.. i was lik laughing so hard.. then jaja and elaine were lik pretending to 'seduce' me.. so lol... but they were unsuccessful.. hahas.. then i dozed off for a while.. was lik super tired.. was only awoken by christel when sam pushed her -.-'..
then the gala night.. performance... saw mrs tan... she was lik givin me the thumbs up sign after the whole performance.. then the bus came lik super late.. then jaja, christel and i were once again... becos of the grass.. lol.. '
ohhhh... its so green... so short... so unique.. i must take a picture of it...' haha.. tat was super hilarious.. well tats all i guess...
ok.. back to sch.. i'm now in charge of 3/3 instead of 4/2.. oh well.. but i'm kinda fine with tat class since i know majority of their name.. had pe... played rugby.. u shld see anissa's reaction when she gets the rugby.. lol.. with her disgusted look..haha.. then history.. i was stoning most of the time.. except some funny parts where mrs tan was lik 'scolding' some ppl.. and throwing post-its at them.. tat was super hilarious.. physics.. the class is lik super quiet.. most of the time.. its lik only shreya, megan and i were answerin questions.. weird.. cos all the noisy ppl went to the other class... we had lik a new nie trainee teacher.. he reminds me of someone.. haha.. another lookalike.. hahas.. i was lik gettin confused with becos of mrs lim.. cos hye ri didnt come on tat day.. then both hye ri and my name sounds alike.. then mrs lim was lik ivy can u help hye ri to take her w.s... then dunno wat hye ri.. ivy.. and i was lik blur... hahas

| 0 notesWell... here's this week's update... been kinda busy this wk with choir practices for EMDD plus SC camp...
Wed- had SC camp but only for trainees... had lik some physical training..running around the netball court twice.. and tat made me realise how unfit i was after the holidays.. then had to form a squard.. to train our discipline...practice shouting loud.. i feel lik we're practicing for NDP..lol.. then had some sharing session... then interview.. yup.. tats all i guess..
Thurs- went to sch early in the morning at 9.. had physical training again! but this time was much worse.. having to run around vjc and canal.. i was lik half dead when i returned to sch.. slack lik a lot.. been a couch potato for the past few weeks.. hahas. did the shouting again.. hmm.. then played some games.. lik some coin game.. i was lik one of first out of the game.. haha.. then played some fairy game.. haha.. tat was hilarious.. then charades.. tat was the funniest... haha.. then went for lunch with jaja to parkway.. laugh.. and ya... then we didnt realise tat time was passing so fast cos we're lik eating super slowly cos the noodles was super hot.. then suddenly we had to eat super fast cos we're afraid tat we would be late.. furthermore jaja had to get her ic photo taken... then i was laughing at one of the shots taken.. she look kuku.. hahas... then took a cab back.. and made it back juz in time..then we had to wait outside the ava cos the excos arent ready.. then while waiting.. the choir ppl r lik practicing our songs.. haha.. then there's times where the whole grp of trainee councillors juz suddenly kept quiet and listened to us sing.. so lol.. went in to the ava.. and then...
WE'RE OFFICIALLY CONFIRMED AS COUNCILLORS! :D

today... went back to sch for emdd combined rehearsal.. was briefed in the gym on wats its lik for this year's emdd.. and i realised tat we hav to sing 24 times on tat day.. gd luck to me... i need to bring stuff high in glucose level.. hahas.. didnt did too well for the rehearsal.. gonna hav to do better the next time.. learnt lik a new song.. cos mrs leong said our performance was too short.. gonna hav to practice... i pray we'll do well on the actual day.. or we must do well!

| 0 notesok.. i've the sudden urge to blog.. oh well.. ok then.. i'm currently listening to the song- Nick Lachey "What's Left Of Me".. though its not kinda new.. but i feel some kind of connection in some way or another.. i juz couldnt describe this feeling..
Mon... went out with anisha to settle her over-due library books which was under my name.. at first we went to parkway.. had fun at acade with the drum game, car racing game.. plus some game which i defeated anisha.. wohoo..
thurs.. went out with zhou tian again.. went to sakae at tampines mall.. haha.. i'm tellin u.. i'm never eating wasabi ever again!!! it tasted so horrible.. discussed hw.. went to the library there.. its lik super quiet there compared to the library at marine parade.. we hav to lik whisper.. at most of the time.. both of us couldnt hear clearly wat we're speakin.. in the end.. we ended up using our hp sms as a method of communication..lol.. went to burger king.. bought lik drinks and we discussed hw.. zhou tian helped me with chem and chinese.. while i help her in add math and ss.. haha.. tats wat friends r for..
Fri.. went back to sch for some SC matters.. but only a few turned up.. at some times.. felicia and i were lik crazy over those hk stars we fancy.. haha... then went to pp for lunch.. hav to rush back home with gen.. cos my parents r fetching me to do my ic. reaching the place.. my dad forced me to go to the counter by myself to do all those admin stuff -.-' but it was no big deal..ok.. lookin forward in gettin my ic.. but i dont feel lik any older in having to hav an ic.. oh well..

| 0 notesthis wk.. was a blast.. startin from last sun... better blog first even though i'm waitin for some pics from zhou tian.. but i'm afraid i'll forget watever stuff that had happened these few amazing days...
1st june- the day before my birthday.. celebrated with zhou tian.. we had a blast! wanted to celebrate on the actual day but she had some band practice.. so we juz hav to push forward.. had to meet extra early at abt 10.45 at eunos mrt as we're afraid we couldnt catch any movie tickets for the chronicles of narnia 'prince caspian'. went to vivo.. got two tickets for the 12.20 show... went to burger king to buy food.. but we got a take away.. cos we wanted to smuggle food into the cinema 'shhh'... hahas.. then got more chips from 7-eleven, and more sweets... cos zhou tian wanted to show me how to play a game with it..hahah... wondered around until it was around 12.15.. i was lik super excited.. i've been waiting for the film for a super long time since last yr =) zhou tian said we're lik havin a picnic in the cinema.. more lik a cinema picnic! hahas... watched through the 2h+ movie... it was
AWESOME!!! its a difinitely must watch movie of the yr! if u haven catch u.. i will strongly recommend you to watch this movie! there's lik so much anticipation in the movie... i never enjoyed a movie sooooo much lik this one.. so its a must watch.. ok.. wandered around vivo.. then there's lik one drama part in mj... cos lik i was lookin through one of the dvds... and dreaming away in my lala land while enjoying the song 'my heart will go on' which is being played in tat store.. then i almost dropped one dvd... then i was lik hittin it up and trying to grab it.. and it lik went up and down.. haha..but luckily i caught it in time.. so lol... overall we had a great time.. catchin up sch stuff.. personal life.. but the movie was the best + the companion.. haha.. oh ya... thanks zhou tian for ur cuteee mushroom and torto + card.. its lik super cool.. the words r laterally inverted.. some ppl cant really read it unless u use a mirror.. super creative work :D 
2nd june- my birthday! wohooo!firstly would lik to thank all those who wished me happy birthday or belated birthday through email/mouth/sms/facebook/friendster.. thanks! u guys brighten up my day! =) woke up early.. gone back to sch to discuss some SC suff... basically abt the racial harmony concert.. but megan.. the person in charge was late.. so the few of us.. sam, gen, janice, nurul, allyson and i ended up waiting lik 1h for her.. -.-' then met natasha.. then gen, natasha and i went out to orchard to celebrate my birthday=)... had lunch at yoshiyona.. went to art friends at ngee ann city.. the stuff there r lik super cool.. though i'm not an art person.. more of the science.. but i can tell u.. its lik kinda cool... i'm especially there's lik one archeology stuff.. its lik cool! ok... i realise tat there's quite a few 'cool' word here.. ok.. i'll change it.. its awesome! haha! then shopped around orchard.. went to heeren.. orchard cineleisure.. went to take neoprints.. then shopped around.. until we're really tired then we rest at lik some food court.. and my legs hurt.. cos of my shoes... argh.. then it was time again.. well time really flies when you're havin fun.. i took bus 16 back to kcp bus stop.. it was kinda long bus ride... literally was in dream land during the whole time spent on the bus.. but had a great time too! thanks to gen for her present and natasha for your care bear.. i know u care for me=) after all this.. went out for dinner with my family to celebrate.. went to canton wok.. its lik some kind of famous cantonese restaurant.. and the food there seriously rocks! its lik supper yummy.. ate until my stomach was bloated.. had a great time... seeing lik so much ppl actually care.. even ppl whom i dont expect to remember my birthday actually did.. i love you guys once again=)
P6 Leadership + NE camp=)
4th june- p6 camp! its lik some kind of camp leadership + NE organised by the councillors + RHYA .. firstly.. we had the registration, then a briefing given by mrs kauthar on wat the camp is abt.. then ice breakers.. played blow wind blow and 5 days of a week.. then banner making.. juz walked around.. makin sure tat each grp is doin ok.. then break.. bonded a bit with danielle's grp-'the strikers' haha... then the girls were passed on to the PHYAs... the games com then went to set up our games.. i was in charge of the obsticle course.. wohoo! which involves lik 4 stations.. the most disgustingg station was the flour.. where the campers hav to dip their head into the an alumunium tray filled with flour to find 3 ping-pong balls... the sec 2 trainees.. kailing and yiting came along to help me.. instructed them wat to do.. but we still had lik loads of time.. then we ended up playing games with the ball under the sun.. at the netball court.. talked abt stuff.. lik tellin them abt upper sec life.. both of them r lik super funny ppl..seriously..haha... then hav lunch..
lunch was lik some kind of traditional malay food.. so to be traditional.. we hav to use our hands to eat.. it was lik seriously my first time eatin rice and chicken with my hands.. then danielle and i were lik teasin each other abt how i eat with all the food droppin + ppl who think and hav breakfast r smarter... then campers ended up laughin at us.. so lol.. lectures was next.. as usual.. i walked around seeing if any camper needs help... then it was the games.. i was lik rushin around.. cos we had previously removed the games stuff to some area with shelter cos we're afraid tat it would rain when we're havin the lectures.. then we hav to place everythin back into order.. explained to the campers wat to do.. and how to play the game.. cheering them on..awardin them ice cream sticks based on their teamspirit.. it was really fun.. seeing them persevere.. especially at the pail station.. where they hav to lift a bucket half filled for 3 min.. it really impressed me.. after the whole game.. debriefed them.. lik wat they learnt and stuff lik tat.. for some teams.. i'm really touched on seeing tat some teams had learnt somethin and at the same time had fun! esp. their teamspirit=) but time was lik really rushed.. when the 1st grp isnt done playin the 2nd grp is here.. but overall it went quite well;) had the last game.. water soccer.. i think tats the game where the girls had the most fun.. haha.. gettin wet.. lastly prize presentation.. overall in my opinion.. the whole camp went quite well=) and i had lik lots of fun.. though i was not any grp facilitator.. but i'm still glad tat those ppl actually enjoyed themselves.. though it was a tiring day.. and i fell asleep the min i touched my pillow.. hahas.
