While most of my friends at NTU and NUS have started sch, here i am, slacking at home. haha. This wk is filled with events. Sch's just ard the corner... I'm excited and nervous at the same time. The same feeling whenever I go to a new sch, just more nervous this time. Cos i really dunno what to expect! Uni is like a new phase in my life! Just gotta embrace it and make the best out of it! I've alr got problems getting my textbks! Since we technically use our textbks for only 6 months, most of us will buy 2nd hand bks. But finding a seller is so tough! Its like Demand is so much greater than Supply >.< Hopefully the profs wont mind us, blur freshies going to seminars without textbooks!
Later in the morning, at 5am, gonna be at airport to send dear bestie off to Canada. Cant believe tmr's the day she's leaving. Always seem to me that the time we both spent tgt was never enough! Gonna miss her loads and loads! True that technology allows us to still keep in touch, but the feelings can never replace meeting her personally:( Feels like we're so close yet so far... contradictory isnt it? Prepared a small gift for her! Hopefully she'll love it. Feeling all emo as I'm typing this... oh wells... I shld be happy for her since this is like her long awaited dream. Just cant overcome the feeling of letting go:(
Okays.. what's up this wk? Having convocation this wed, its a formal event to officially welcome all the freshies! Held at Suntec Convention Halls! Looking forward to seeing my ftb grp for lunch(: Thurs, will have my last driving lesson. Feeling a bit sad.. cos I know i'll miss my instructors and will be ever grateful to both of my Oneteam instructors, even though one forever suaning and scolded me quite badly for one lesson, but I know he still care for me! (: I still rmb at the end of the previous lesson, he waited outside the car for me to have a small chat. He even reminded me to get my bag at the backseat and even asked me what time my next few lessons r to see if I'll ever see him again. In my heart I'm like awww... so sweet... hehe.. a sweet suaning instructor that I have! (: Sat is my driving pract test! Super nervous! Its like a make or break situation. I must pass!!! #determined
Ppl! Wish me luck kays!! I need all the luck to have favourable traffic conditions, sunny weather and a nice nice instructor who is in the gd mood! And for me to remain calm and alert!
Supposed to blog abt Oikos camp 2012! It was awesome! Awesome grp mates and facis! This yr they had a spy theme and we're in the ingenium (blue) clan! Nadiah, our clan head was one of our facis! (: My facis, Nadiah, Fracesca, Lucas and Thomas r all so on! Forever encouraging and rah rah-ing us! Our grp is actually quite chill and slack. Not the super competitive type, we have the 'just have fun' attitude!
First day we had ice breakers and station games. The games r quite fun. I rmb playing the first game which is dodge ball! We had to pair up, 1 guy to 1 girl, I was with Kellan, we're quite a funny pair.. to avoid the balls.. we keep running in circles, behind other ppl! Hahahs! We had dirty games too! The most gross game was the one we had to play musical chairs, just that in this version, we have chilli, tomato sauce, soya sauce, flour, egg placed on the chairs.. it was super gross! Its like all slimy!! Eww! Another game involved having to pass soya sauce using ur face to a plate, I really stink after that! After that we washed up, had performance prep for the next night, went out for supper at macs and had htht session! We played the traffic light game! I was quite surprised that quite a few ppl tot i'm red! Hahas! I dont think i give off the feeling that I'm attached. Hahas!

Day 2 was amazing race! I tell u, this is the most chill amazing race I had! There's no running involved! My grp is cool and chill! We just walked and even stop by at raffles city to enjoy ice cream! Hahha! Slack ah! After that we had a couple of talks by OCBC and the Economist and performance prep was next. Every grp had to perform for finale night! My grp did a skit, quite funny storyline we had. Cos our theme for the skit was spy kids, so we have 2 kids who did badly for exams no matter how hard they tried so they decided to search for a wisdom tooth. They then decided to break into a dental clinic but to enter they have to do a dance. In the end they found the tooth! Hahah! Our facis performed too!! Love all of their performance! The gangnam style performance was the funniest! That song was stuck in my head too!! We had fright night after that! Everyone was totally not expecting it! Cos our facis kept on convincing us that there isnt one! Hahaha! So when the lights went off at the auditorium, everyone knew there's fright night! We were to go in grps of 4! I went with hyeon who was scared even before we started the game, peishan and ching! The scariest part was the gorilla who was played by some super buff guy who hid at the blidspot of the staircase and scared all of us! I really screamed at the top of my voice!! Hyeon was super funny at the 2nd station! Cos we're supposed to crawl under the table and being the first person when he first went under the table, the ghost there scared him that he literally jumped and pushed all of us against the wall!! hahahah!! The station where our faci was at was super funny! Cos he's our faci so all of us wasnt scared! And the funniest thing is I think we destroyed their props cos we pulled all the garbage bag surrounding the table we're supposed to crawl under apart! Until his partner scolded him! After the event, we're all shag! I slept through the whole night!
Day 3 was at sentosa!! Had beach games! Seeing ppl getting dunk was
super funny! As long I am not the one! Haha! Break camp and had dinner
with the grp! Yupps!
